The Threat of Baldness

In the family my dad is losing his hair and same is true with my older brother. They are slowly getting bald. It runs in the blood and while we fear to experience the same dilemma sooner or later we have accepted that fact and the most we could do is to pray and look for latest medical innovations to prevent the rest of the family from ultimately becoming bald.

As part of my searches online, I came to Dr. Lawrence Shapiro’s website which specializes in hair transplant surgery. Dr. Shapiro is the first doctor to do a “strip incision” and “micro mini grafts”. He has done like 10,000 hair transplant surgeries. Pretty impressive credentials!

So I continued musing through his site and was amazed to know hair loss patients actually spend one billion dollar each year for ineffective hair loss treatments. I also learned that the best way of treating hair loss problems is hair transplant. Well, ever since the family is not easily sold out with the marketing strategies hair product companies employ just to get customers to buy their products. Oh yes the family is battling with the threat of baldness but we still have our brains to tell us just what’s unproven from clinically proven products.

Dr. Lawrence Shapiro’s name is already stuck in my head. Just in case dad decides to undergo a hair transplant. The cost is reasonable enough, just $3 per Graft, plus free consultation.

If you too have baldness problems, or hair loss problems you can check out Dr. Shaprio’s website, it’s a good read, a lot of information about hair loss, successful hair transplants and some before and after photos and videos of client's experiences.
