It feels good to have a blog where you can write about almost everything. It's like a diary but made available to everyone, sort of a public diary. A lot of people have started blogs of their own, just like me. Some consider to use blogspot, others use wordpress and some other blog providers. But there is really no security in getting a free blog. It's a subdomain. It's not yours. You don't have full control over it. Your blog may run for days, months or years, but at the end of the day you do not really own. The blog provider can take it away and all the hard work will be gone. I know this myself because I've been in the same situation. That's why if you have the financial means to get your own domain get one!
