I Received a Christmas Card

The mailman arrived today and I received my first Christmas card from an old buddy. It's not common nowadays to send cards because of the availability of cellular phones, and the internet. I appreciate the idea even more now that sending cards or letters has become rare. I appreciate my friend looking for a Christmas card and taking the time to go the post office and snail mail it to me. This Christmas I don't think I'd be sending letters or cards. I will however load my cellular phone and apply for an unlimited text or unlimited call and text and call my friends, relatives, and greet them a Merry Christmas.

Christmas Shopping!

Time is so fast. I just realized this morning that Christmas is just a few days away! I could hear christmas songs all over and the tiny voices of little children carolling in the streets. The streets, houses, establishments are full of Christmas lights and other decorations. The cold breeze is now felt. The yuletide season has definitely arrived. It's time to prowl the stores to buy gifts for our loved ones. Okay, I need to buy gifts for my family. Simple gifts, not necessarily pocket draining in price. What matters is the thought.
