Do You Give to People Who Ask For Money In the Streets?

This idea just came to mind after I saw few beggars on the street begging for some cash. I am talking of abled, physically fit beggars here, about ages 18-30. My human instinct and compassion prompted me to give them a few coins. There was reluctance on my part to give knowing these people can work and get paid. Rather than spending hours in the streets begging for the mercy and generosity of passers by, these people could have spent those times working a decent job and earning their money. But then, I also have this idea in mind that perhaps these people haven't eaten since last night. So I gave in and gave them some money to buy for a good snack.

I just do hope these people won't continue begging. There's a lot of opportunities. They just have to work hard in finding these opportunities. If a student like me manages to make a living at the same time study, these people can do the same thing. Don't be lazy guys. Work and survive life! It's almost impossible to find cash or food for free nowadays!

So get your a$$ working!
