PC Problems after Program Installation

I have been using zone alarm anti spyware for more than a year. I've had not a problem with it except today. Here's what happened. I installed a new software for my computer. Of course, id get these pop out messages from zone alarm telling me that this thing is trying to access your privileged resources or your system's pc. Since I was installling a new program I allowed it. I think i press allow 3 times. The new program was installed and so I reboot the pc. After rebooting, two of the programs in my pc are not working anymore. One is my winamp player, and the other one is my encarta. I speculate its the zone alarm which prevented me from accessing the two programs. Im not really sure. It could be a virus or something. But a friend told me, it could be my zone alarm as it's very sensitive. There might be conflict with the new program I installed. That's what Ill have to figure out.

Another problem just days before my exam. I used my winamp to play mp3 files containing some of my lessons. I need to figure this one quick or else undo the installation of the new program. I'll work on that later.
