School is something we should prioritize. We always hear our parents tell us about the importance of school. We always hear them tell us to read our books, study our lessons, do our projects, etc. But how many of us follow what our parents tell us? Many but not all! And often times we only understand our parents' teachings when we grow old and mature enough. Good for those who obey their parents even without understanding by the simple reason that they trust their parents and unlucky for those who do not obey their parents and at the end of the day find themselves jobless because they were not able to pursue and finish their studies.
Obedience without understanding, this is how I describe how children should trust their parents. Generally, our parents only want what's best for us. I say generally because I could not close my eyes to the reality that there are some people who don't know how to be real parents.
We are all children of some parent and someday we will become parents ourselves. I only hope we can be real parents to our children in the real meaning of the word "parents" and hope that we will find obedience even without understanding in the lives of our young minor children.
